International Guest Lecture 2025: Explores Sustainable Solar Cell Innovations with Hankyong National University, Korea

Yogyakarta, 27 October 2025 — The Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, through its International Office Affairs, proudly hosted the International Guest Lecture 2025 featuring Assoc. Professor Kim Gyu Min from Hankyong National University, Republic of Korea.

The lecture, titled “A Practical Perovskite Solar Cell Strategy for the Indonesian Tropical Environment: Ambient, Low-Cost, and Stable,” explored innovative and sustainable approaches to solar energy suited for Indonesia’s climate. Prof. Kim shared insights on the latest developments in perovskite solar cell technology, emphasizing its potential to support renewable energy initiatives in tropical regions. The event also featured a special session on Scholarship and Research Collaboration Info Corner, introducing opportunities for fully funded scholarships, student exchanges, internships, joint research, and double-degree programs for students and academic staff.

The session was moderated by Endaruji Seedyadi, S.Si., M.Sc., from the Chemistry Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN Sunan Kalijaga.
