Our Profile

Center for Developing Cooperation and International Affairs (CDCIA ) is a non-structural institution at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. CDCIA is mandated to develop cooperation and relations with foreign partners of the university.

As an international institution, CDCIA has become a reference in institutional development and become the premier partner of various Religious Universities for staff capacity development in foreign cooperation. For over a decade, CDCIA has initiated dozens of memorandums of understanding and agreements between universities and various foreign institutions and higher education across North America, Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Asia Pacific.

CDCIA is ministered by academics who have a track record and interest in academic development, teaching quality assurance, and community service at the international level. The CDCIA managers are alumni of degree and non-degree programs from various universities abroad, such as in the United States, Australia, Austria, Netherlands, Germany, Canada, Egypt, and many more. Their involvement in foreign higher education and research institutions has also resulted in a dynamic intellectual and professional network. In addition, the diverse scientific backgrounds of CDCIA managers (Islamic studies, modern science, and social sciences) and synergies within the framework of a scientific approach with an ethical-humanist perspective make CDCIA services a reliable and trusted offer.
